Fibromyalgia

  • I am a chronic pain patient on disability with fibromyalgia, arthritis and degenerative disc disease. I met Frieda in the coffee area @ 5:00 one morning. We got to talking and she suggested I see her for treatment. The 3 sessions I had with her in 3 days were life changing. I learned so much and the treatment reduced my pain more than any therapy ever has.  I have been advised by my doctors to try acupuncture for the fibromyalgia and I will continue the treatment after I return home.By Barbara Burke from USA at Carnival Pride on 9/17/09

Frieda Mah is a wonderful acupuncturist because she explain what she is doing and finds new area that need work. For instance, to pins in my hands and lungs (was a smoker), I can breathe better and there is only a slight pain on the left side of my low back. The neuralgia in my feet, only diagnosed a week before the cruise, has lessened in pains that is only very mild now.I will continue acupuncture treatments at home. I am very grateful to Frieda for explaining what she was doing and for the experieces she gave me. I really feel like a new person. All I have to do is give up coffee and wine to be really fit and well. Having treatment every day for 10days was agreat way to be introduced to acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.I will need more about it when I get home. Frieda says more acupuncture can eliminate my fibromyalgia pain and that is what I hope more treatment can do.

    Thank you Frieda.
