Post Surgery Nerve Damage

Today in an event, a person asked me that can acupuncture treat her post surgery nerve damage on her elbow and below especially on her left hand.

I asked her did the surgeon cut any nerve and disconnect it or just have weak sensation? She told me that she has weak sensation at her left hand. She lives too far away from my clinic. I told her to look for a local acupuncturist to help her improve post surgery circulation on her left arm and hand, her sensation should coming back.

It’s better to look for an acupuncturist’s help after surgery  to help recovery sooner. Otherwise, if passed the golden time for nerve regeneration, growth factor can help regenerate the nerve.
